And if the solution was to live your emotions and don't give a damn about what people think?
Because we can see the result of running towards performance: the explosion of burnout and mental health issues and the feeling to be constantly overwhelmed is not a nice picture of the reality.
Growing a business means having the stamina to bounce back quickly, persevere and believe in yourself. In addition, our desire to be good at everything, a good mum, boss and wife can lead us to sheer exhaustion and being burned out.
Whereas when you grow a business from a place of rest, not hustle, grounded and focused on your business and your family, the lifestyle and financial freedom that you want to create is at your fingertips.
When you feel overwhelmed, take a moment for you and accept being vulnerable. Accept being in the discomfort because these challenging emotions, yes, you can ignore them, resist them but you cannot escape them.
They're here to tell you that something is not ok and it's time to do something different.
When I started to create my business, I fell into the trap of the shiny object syndrome, believing that shortcuts were possible and I hustled, I pushed hard to get where I wanted.
Instead of feeling content, I felt disappointed with my results and close to burnout and (honestly) guilty to not spending enough time with my family. It’s when I stepped back from the online noise that things started to change.
I said no the hustle and I slowed down. I cultivated being present and my passion for my business came back.
I decided this time to work from a place of real enjoyment and I went from 10k followers to 120k in 2 months.
The key is to see this as a wake-up call to let go of the old way and start something new. To run your business in another way, a way where you feel focused without hustling.
A way where you feel supported, to give yourself permission to grow your business the way you want to.
If this resonates with you, let's have a chat. Let's explore together what are the steps to grow your business from a place of rest, not overwhelm.
You created a business to make a positive impact in the world. Not to have a negative impact on your life.
With love, joy, and trust
